Future of the LPD

I heard this weekend that Burton was going to put in for a move to the cumberland district and that Lee might join the LPD......I am not sure if this has any contingency on the Wise consoladation efforts......Does anyone know anything about any of this?

You may remember TW wants to go to the LPD as well. If JIB came to the CD, someone would have to move out I would think if SP continues to field teams since they will stay open.

I rember the TW thing from before but there was no menten of them one way or the other so no clue there.....the Burton thing took me a bit by suprise

I've heard it from numerous people over the last month. I've stated on here before that when we consolidate I want us to leave the LPD and join the CMD, I hope that's the case. We need to be proactive, if not JIB and CW will leave us high and dry.

Don't think CW will as they will be DC high in 2 years unless something changes

New LPD \?
PV/App, Wise/Pound, Lee, DC (Think we need one more but who knows)

If PV/Appy goes to the CMD DC would most likly go to the BDD where would Wise/Pound end up?

Off topic, but awesome give pvfan! Julius' speed there is very evident, and that's versus Madison at the state game in '98! He was barely even touched on that play, and the cut he makes before he sprints the rest of the way is just wicked.

I talked to one of the coaches today and he said it's all just rumors right now, but that is a possibility. But there's no motion or any planned move to do this as of right now, just speculation and ideas being tossed around because of consolidation.

I would hate to see the LPD go away. If anything lets bring Coeburn back in and the LPD can make it with 5 teams. I think that would be best. It just wouldn't be the same without the LPD.

Everyone needs to remember the new Single A system begins next year. This will be the last year for Regional Champs. The whole playoff system is alot different than what it is now.
